Day 15: Make a Decision and Stick to it

Now that we have got the whole procrastination thing covered (did you finally get to doing the things you have been putting off?), now we can start focusing on the things we want to do and make an active decision to get out there and do it!

Here are a couple of ways to make sure you stick to your decisions:
  • Keep Perspective (I tend to over analysis and over think alot. Keep focus on what the facts are before making a decision)
  • Set long-term goals (Are you doing things that might hinder you from completing goals in your future? Make sure everything aligns with what you want for yourself.)
  • Listen to your gut (WOW- 90% of the time your gut instinct is right! That explains alot)
  • Ask for help from the right people (it's all good and great to ask everyone and there mom what they think about something- but keep in mind that some peoples opinions should be taken with a grain of salt if they aren't the most knowledgeable in that department)
  • Quit Obsessing (I'm guilty of this one- I tend to reply convos in my head over, and over, and over again wondering if what I said was the correct thing to say)
  • Don't second guess (Welp this ties into the one above. Stop rethinking what you said and just say tell yourself you did fine. What's done is done)
  • Take stock (make sure to take a good look at everything you have in your life. For me I've been making sure to notice everything throughout my day that makes me smile. Once we stop to notice these things we realize we have lots to be grateful for.)
Once we do these things, it is easy for us to be grateful for what we have in our lives. Once we do that, we are open to giving and getting so much more in our lives.
